With new threads every single day about stolen images, customers submitting purchased images for media/magazine usage, etc I thought it would be best to add a DETAILED copyright notice to my website for additional protection.

I have seen websites were in order to enter you needto agree to copyright terms, SM does not have anything like this.
So, my question is how is everyone else displaying a detailed copyright notice about image usages.

Displaying in every gallery?
In your footer?
Separate page?

I'd probably create a copyright notice in the footer, with a link to an HTML only gallery with the details.

Right now I have a copyright notice displaying in the footer of every page. I am planning on a HTML-only page with a simple, quickie primer on copyright (i.e., just because you're in the photo or bought the print doesn't mean you now own the photo, etc.)--I need to poke around & see what else has been done along these lines. The main challenge I see is to educate the clients without coming off as an overprotective jerk.
