Holy colorful Batman! These are superb! Even with the harsh light you had to deal with....spot on. I've always wanted to go to a Renfest.....heh....with these excellent shots the reservation is in for this October :D Great shooting Randy.

    Thanks Dave,

Yeah, the sun was out strong. I had to control the shadows with my 580EX.

Ahhhhh.....the fun of no pressure photography!!!!mwink.gif

I get mine this weekend. Both of my girls have proms, and I think another coming up as well the following weekend.

It appears as if you had a great time. I especially like the last two. Those are some seriously yellow legs!!!

OK, I'll admit. I'm a sucker for renaissance festival photos. Always a lot of friendly looking ladies with low cut dresses. C'mon Randy! All you got here is a guy (#3) with a serious codpiece. Geeze. Go back to sports.

    Thanks Travis,

I haven't even had the time to go through all my pics. I just grabbed these and posted them while I had time.

That last shot...something about it just makes me stare at it.

    Thanks Lee,

I looked at your shots, they are good. Yep, overcast makes it hard for the colors to pop. Lot's of fun anyway you look at it.

I was going to ask if you used flash or a reflector for your fill in the first two shots, but you already said a 580ex for fill. Well done!

I love the saucy gal with the money on her knee in the last shot too.

Great captures! Looks like lots of fun!clap.gif

    Thanks Jim,

Actually, I used the 580EX on everyone of these shots.
