Watermarking problem

Before I bang my head into the wall any longer :bash
I am having a problem with certain photos not being watermarked and for the life of me I cannot figure out why. The galleries are set to watermarking, I have tried bulk-watermarking the gallery and it only takes on half of the photos, and when I try to individually watermark an image there is no watermarking option in photo tools.

Fully half of one new gallery uploaded this morning has this problem. All images are the same size and resolution, and they were all uploaded in the same batch. And when I bulk changed the watermark on another gallery several of those photos were just left without any watermark and now no longer have the option to watermark in photo tools.

Am I just having a blonde moment and overlooking something stupid?

Photos must be > 800px to be watermarked. Is that the problem?

:tiptoe I knew it was just a blonde moment...yup, I had run another smaller (600x400) set to put in a unwatermarked gallery for a slideshow...and mixed them in with the "real" gallery.
