I just started photography like few weeks ago, been shooting inside the house ever since, today, I just got the chance to take my 40D and 100-400 to the park near my wife's work place ...

Pretty much dissapointed in myself, I took like at least a hundred photos, only these 3 that looks pretty decent (that's only after Lightroom processing), guess photography is not as easy as it looks, eh, LOL ...

Need to learn much much more, any critiques and advices is greatly appreciated ...

    Good Job
I think you did a great job. Rule of thirds, which I am still learning, and a nicely centered one. Great job! Keep taking lots of pictures...practice makes perfect! At least thats what everyone keeps telling me! lol...I am also new at this, but personally, I really enjoyed the pics!

Thank you, yes, still need to work on composure, exposure and speed, too many shots are wasted just because it's over/under exposure, blur, and out of focus ...

Lucky I found this forum, lots of tutorials and tips, and helpful community ...

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

You definitely have what I call a good eye. The low angle of all three images is very pleasing to me despite the work that needs to be done on the exposure. With that lens, try to stay somewhere around F8 or F9. The lens is sharpest at that aperture.

Thanks for the tips, I need to play around with different apertures ...

As for the low angle, it came with a price, Laughing.gif, after I almost done taking picture, my wife shouted at me from a distance "Hey, did you notice what's around the ground ?" ...

Yep, I totally didnt notice that there were literally tons of poop poop that I stepped on before ...rolleyes1.gif But it's worth it ...
