Ok, I am working on a theme. Black as a background. This was my first attempt. I kind of got crazy with squirtbottle. Please give me C&C.

The only thing I'm not fond of is the kind of distracting strand thing in the lower right. What is that, anyhow?

Otherwise, I like it a lot. The water droplets might be a little overboard, but they're fun.

    Nice exposure +.
Sometimes black gives you full value and sometimes not. Depends.
Lots of that depending depends on what you feel yourself in any given
    effort.
Experimenting like your doing is the only way to find that out. Where and
when to use it or other color will come out of the work.

I'm working on the same issue. I look at other peoples work really hard.
Their artistic efforts and methods give huge insight to potentials in anything
    I might try.

    Brendan,
I think that is part of the stem. I will have to photoshop it out.

Ok... I had to do a macro of a flower for a project not 3 weeks ago. I've got to say yours is gorgeous! You've managed to supress all those pesky hot spots from the water.

    VERY NICE. clap.gif

Hi there slflash, I like your black background, sometimes a natural background looks good but other times Black really makes the subject stand out.

Adding the water droplets works well in this shot.
    Well Done clap.gif .... Skippy :D
