My husband at his best. The sun was to his back giving a golden glow that I tried to capture. The second was stark day but the line was shining from the sun that looked neat while it was being cast.

    EXACTLY!!!!!!!!

    I have seen photos darker than #1 in major fishing mags.....Artistically speaking I think it is one for the wall.....#2 is straight out of "A River Runs Through It".........

    Thanks for the compliment. It only took a zillion shots to get one...he just wouldn't pose for me! :D But I don't dare interupt his casting!

    Keep shooting and I am sure he has copies of "FLYFISHERMAN" lying ariound for you to get ideas from......then send them off to the editors.....you never know.....you could also send in a small story with the photos....that would make publishing more of a possiblity.
