This past year has seen an influx of these friendly little guys. They were rarely seen before, but now they're proliferating the area, which is fine by me...cheers...Don

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Mike. Apparently the bill is like this so they can pry open pine cones. Now since these guys have arrived at our local sanctuary, I've yet to see them in a pine tree. They spend a lot of time grubbing on stumps and the beach. Some day, I hope to see that bill in action...cheers...Don
