Some spiders

Couple of spiders from yesterday.
#1 is an immature orb web spider Araneus diadematus having breakfast - these spiders seem to leave food overnight for the morning start and it's then fairly well already digested by their venom. Rest of the shots are of what I think is a fence post jumping spider- first of these I've seen this year- about 5mm body length (fairly large for these). Of course it was on my car not a fence post

Hi Brian, the Orb has a lovely pattern on it's back.
and my favourite little begging Spider ... the Jumping Spider.
I've seen a couple of little Jumping Spiders on the deck, but they are way too fast for me.
Nice series Brian .... Skippy

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
I like the eyes on the little jumper, like Skippy said, these guys are really quick! Hard to get a good image (for me)

Those shots have so much detail it really is a pleasure to look at them and also the knowledge you have about them makes it so interesting. Well done and thanks.

Bob
