These photos were taken in north Jersey today. She did have a few other wardrobes but the weather wasn't too good (Thunderstorms).

It must have been tough to shoot against the bright background and still get good contrast. Other than that, you probably know more about photography than I do. But I do like the photos! No wonder that under your forum name it says "Big grins"thumb.gif

Everything looks really great to me. I like the white sky in this situation because it acts as a high key background.

Beautiful shots. I think her eyes could have benefitted some more light (reflector maybe?) specifically in 4. I can see the color in them in 1.

Thanks for all the comments everyone! I agree with you all that I love the white background. Some people have been commenting on other boards how they don't like it, but it's all good.

Her and I are going to try some diff. wardrobes this weekend if we get a chance. I need some closer face shots as well as the wider ones I have here.

I did have my large reflector in the car, but it was a good mile or so hike in deep sand. I had my backpack with all my gear, she had a backpack, we both had rain jackets just in case, etc. I did want to bring it, but figured using a fill flash would work. Then I realized my SB600 batteries were basically dead, so I was only getting 1 flash per 3 to 5 shots :( Oh well, I am learning lol.

    Beautiful subject.

I'd suggest, though, a bit of work on your shooting angle on the second and third photos-- your angle in these photos is not the most flattering in her crotch/butt region. If you look at Sports Illustrated or those type of swimsuit mags, you'll see the photographer usually moves so there are no cheeks, etc hanging down. :D

Pete: It's funny you say that. I'm Photoshopping it tonight to fix that but I'm also researching that same pose to see what can be done to fix that :) Thanks much!!
