On a Canon 40D, how do I use the bracketing function?

    Ahhh Google
Its a menu item - called AEB. Select the Option, press SET and the use the big wheel to select the bracket amount. There is also a custom function to determine whether the AEB auto turns off after each sequence or remains active

    Found here.

If your shooting HDR. Your better off going 100% manual and adjusting SS to taste.

Thanks for the link Ziggy! And SloYerRoll, as much as I'd love to go full manual, I don't have a good sturdy tripod to make sure each picture is the exact smae and would line up correctly. So, my current thinking is to make use the high speed burst and a fast shutter with the bracketing on.

I'm open to any suggestions except for buying a tripod (ATM) because I'm pretty strapped for cash. ne_nau.gif

What do you consider to be a good price for a tripod? ear.gif

Well I know good tripods are at least $100+ but I barely have $30 to my name because I just got a car.

well... good tripods w/ a head are more in the 300+ range. But w/ your budget. I say don't spend a dime and use the one you have. Just don't extend the legs and keep it as low to the ground as possible. This will dramatically improve your stability.

What software do you use for post production? ear.gif

Then you don't even need a tripod for HDR :D

Read the whole thing, but step three is most important to you.

Just keep the images reasonably close and Ps can do the heavy lifting.
