It was designed by a guy at our studio Jess Harder. It's dubbed the Rosenmeyer after the famous racer. It was a one off concept car that was a nod to the racing history of Audi. It's massive and really impressive in person, this photo doesn't do it justice, but I couldn't get any closer because it was on this crazy oversized hotdog rack that they built to display the cars. It's' really cool though, you go to the factory and you can visit the museum or see the car you ordered roll off the assembly line. In Germany people don't go to a lot and pick out a car, they order it exactly to their specifications and then if they want they can pick it up at the factory and tour it at the same time.

This is a motorcycle that was made (and I may be wrong and am embarrased to admit that I don't know for sure) back when what we know as Audi was called Auto Union and it was four companies, NSU, Wander, Horch, and DKW. Each company represented one of the four rings. It's a little dense but you can read more about it here:

I wish I knew more about this specific bike, I'll ask the guys at work and see if they know more about it.

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

nah, that was a Lexus, nice concept car though.

A very nice series Gotta love that "over-sized hotdog rack"
I was hoping Dani would get to see this. She's a real Audi nut (she has a TT). Maybe I'll go put a bug in her ear to drop by
Thanks for sharing,
Steve
Thanks Steve, I can't wait to go back with my D70, This was all shot with an old minolta with a crumby lens strapped on to the front of it. Only a few shots survived and the color was all wrong, but I'll get it right next time...

Naw, both those vehicles are too current, they're still doing the car show circuit. This is more on the history tip. Maybe next time they send me over, it'll be there.
They did have $100 dollar scale models of both cars in the gift shop...
