Question on private galleries

I've created a gallery for a friend and want to make sure that only she can see it.

When I put it up, I set it on "Public", and then added a password. This shows a "locked" icon on my main screen.

I logged out of my account and then looked at it as a visitor. When I clicked on the album, it allowed me to view the images without punching in the password.

What am I doing wrong here?

For now I have it unlisted, for I don't want these pics to be available to the public.

Well, I figured it out. I'm a nard.

Now then, how do I delete this post???

It remembers you having entered a password for a short time. Delete your
cookies and you'll have to enter it again.
