Taking the new camera for a shakedown beach style

Here are a few from Sunday's shakedown of the new camera. I feel like I'm starting over having shot with the same manufacturer for 26 years. It is kind of a wierd feeling spending 20 minutes trying to figure out how to set a focus point :rofl. C&C welcomed as usual.

As soon as I got back in my truck, a downpour hit. That would have really hurt my feelings had I been caught on the beach with my new baby....

Lovely set! I love the ship in the second - really puts the scene into perspective.

Glad you avoided the downpour, 'cuz I love the clouds. thumb.gif

Thanks y'all. I didn't exactly pick the optimum time to test out the new gear. It was right in the middle of the day and the afternoon sun was jumping in and out of the storm clouds as they were rolling in. The light was completely killed behind the thick clouds and unruly harsh when the clouds parted. headscratch.gif Then again, I could have been shooting photos of a blank wall and been completely happy. Love the new camera!!!
