How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

These are great Harry! If nothing happens, my sister and I are headed back to the Gatorland Rookery on Saturday. I'm hoping to see some Tri-Color hatchlings soon!

Thanks Ric and if they don't have a branch or foliage to obscure them they just carry their own. :D

Thanks Anna and you should have some excellent photo ops at Gatorland. Their rookery is a few weeks ahead of the rookery in St. Augustine.

Thanks Russ but save your plane fare. Actually, Florida is a tad over-rated concerning photo ops. Take this tree at the Rookery for example

I think the wood stork needs a lesson from the Air Force - camoflage should be blue to work effectively in flight.... nice captures.

    Thanks Glenn. wave.gif

Its easy to get lots of OK pictures at the rookery but its hard to get really good captures. Between the foliage in front of your subejcts and the other birds behind your subjects its a challenge to get a capture w/o some distracting element in it.

Nice set of pics H. thumb.gif Looks like things are pretty busy up there. Picking up down here...but I'm missing all the action. Camera shutter died on me a last week. I'm dead in the water for the time being. Torture... Just torture I say. Good excuse to get a new camera I suppose. There goes the topless mermaid bride fund. eek7.gif:D
