Eastern Phoebe
While not an exotic species by any means, this one was kind enough to give me a nice perch. I visited this ranch for its bird blinds and set-ups, but ironically this image is not from any blind. It is getting the shot the old fashioned way. It was shot at dusk in shadows and low light.

I don't think I've ever seen an Eastern Phoebe before.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

They are relatively easy to find around here especially in spring and summer but they are here year-round. They like to hang out low in trees near a water source. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Ric. And I completely agree. When a small and fast one comes in range, there is usually more cussing that congratulatory pride in oneself.
