    Nice find Rod clap.gif the first two are my choice of the four shots.

    Those front on and profile shots are always more appealing.

    Thank you Skippy, Brian and MM.

    Front-on & profile are what I aim for. Kind of, anyway :) Unfortunately, these hoverflies were facing 'into' the tree and I had no chance of getting the face-on shots. I waited for what seemed like ages for these to settle but a late shift at work was looming and I had to go. The first fly shot was a pleasing surprise as I thought I'd missed it.
