Not my thing, but I can see some people may be into this. Especially if that is Moma watching them from above!
Light another candle.
Not denigrating it. Interesting comp, nicely done.

i like the comp, and the opacity
i think maybe some prep on the head shot would be good.
like whitening the eyes, softening the skin, take the flash glaring off a bit?
maybe mask the eye color first and bring out a little more color from them...
Thanks for the keen observations, Aaron. It's just what I was hoping for. I shot the woman during an Easter procession a few weeks ago. She looked somber enough to match the ominous sky. I sort of like the way the chin rests on the tree, though I might try adding a little space there. I was aware of the branches in the eye. I thought it looked OK, but maybe I'll mask them out a little bit.
Richard. I like the foreground comp. However, I think she is in there too hard
(soften that to essence only slightly over that of the clouds) and she should (IMHO) be color toned like the clouds. Plus move her a bit to your left. I'd try
scaling her to fit that space in center.
A little something in short order. Oh yeah, heavy on IMHO.

Thanks, DaddyO. I put a bit more time into it, but I'm still not really happy. Moving her to the left a bit has helped. If I get it together, I'll post a corrected version.

Thanks for the comment, Don. I realize this pic isn't going to appeal to everyone.

Hi Richard, I like the "Looking down from above" feel this image has Richard,
but the lady is wearing make-up that shines, and is probably blue is it?
I think it's her make-up that is possibly not working for you.
