Just checking in
Haven't posted in a few days any images of Maggie (B&G Macaw) or Henry (Cockatoo). Maggies feathers are starting to grow back, but I'm afraid Henrys a lost cause (feather wise) he is a character

Beautiful birds.
How did he lose his feathers .. oily seeds ? Too much sunflower seed will do it to them.
Sorry to hear that, unfortunately not uncommon in parrots. And there are as many remedy as there are parrots with the symptoms. My Cockatoo came to me as a feather picker many years ago (he was quite bad) has gotten better over the years, actually comes and goes. My Macaw is not a feather picker it's just Henry likes to pick on her feathers as well as his own.
One thing you might try especially with a young bird as yours is to give her plenty of stuff to chew always keep her real busy doing that. This has worked some for me and others I know.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
nice shot of the kids it is too bad once they start picking seems they never stop same with pups that chew :cry JEFF
