Love it! I wish it was a bit wider to frame the house a little better in with the rest of the shot, but other than that I really like it. Great colors! What settings/filters did you use?

Thanks, it was iso 200, f13 and 1/1100 sec aperture priority (av)
I don't have any filters, I guess I could use some as I spent alot of time in CS3 working on the image - especially controlling the highlights in the sky.

Sweet image. My suggestion is to shift the horizon line up or down so the frame isn't split in-half.

i dunno about travis' comment, I think in this case it's more about symmetry than classical composition. I personally like it.

    beautiful shot!

I was thinking the exact same thing. In this case if you move that horizon line up or down you also get rid of the amazing reflection in the water. Perfect crop IMHO, except for of course almost choppin up the house! thumb.gif

Beautiful picture. I think the vertical crop is the right choice because you would lose too much of hte sun and reflection. But I would like more of the house and so maybe would shift the crop right for that reason.

Amazing shot, just amazing! It's really grand! Cropping few degrees to the right and it would be perfect.

Here's an edit with the house further into the frame, which seems to be the biggest issue
