Hi - one of the many beautiful scenes near Elterwater, Lake District, UK.

Equipment: Nikon D50 + 18~200VR lens @18mm
Settings: Aperture f/9 shutter speed 1/320 ISO 200

    Wow! That is a beautiful shot Herman - it hardly looks like somewhere in England!
    Lovely composition, lighting colours....makes me really want to go there. Was it taken recently?

    Lovely shot Herman. The lake district is one of my favourite places in the UK (when I can't get to Scotland which is just as beautiful).

    In fact, I'm going to be up there in June (Is only 100 miles away from my home) for 3 days so you can be sure I'll be taking some time to photograph a few of the lakes. I'll be staying at Ullswater which itself is a stunning lake.

    nice shot! mwink.gif but I do think a polarizer could have done wonders with this one
