Are those chestnuts in the 4th image. I like that shot the best. Nice series.

Those little P&S's can produce really good images.
I have one in my bag all the time.

Don't be afraid to post larger shots,
up to 600x800 is plenty big enough for the Forum,
it's easier to see an image more clearly at the larger size too.

I like that fourth shot also, I thought it was a coloured stone,
but I see you've said it's a Chestnut rolleyes1.gif I was way off with my guess!

Hope you enjoy the forum, and please keep posting. thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

Skippy, where did your forensic abilities go? Or are there no chestnuts down there? The slightly out of focus one behind and the shells are the giveaway!

    Great images all of them
I never would have guessed that was a chestnut. We don’t have those here in Florida.
Really like the colors in #2 and 4.
Be careful once the macro bug bites make sure you look up every once in awhile. :D MM

Welcome to the forum Aspire , chestnut my favorite :D . next time try moveing main subject away from centre, usually 1/3 up from bottom corner .it makes a big difference to composition.[everyone does centralise subjects at first]
    keep sending.

    Great shots.

You should look into the Raynox DCR-250. Clip on Macro lens works great on your camera.

See examples here with a PS S3 IS...
