Olympus Mju 1030SW?

I Did a search and the last thread on this was in 2007 (before the next gen of Olympus).
I'm in the market for a point and shoot waterproof camera. Naturally the Olympus Mju 1030SW has caught my eye. On the surface it looks pretty good, but I was wondering if anyone has an opinion in this area. The 10MP worries me a bit, as I don't think a sensor on a PnS can handle that size. Perhaps the previous version is better for sharpness?
I want to stress that this will be my carry around PnS when I'm on vacation near water. I also want to use it for taking photos whilst snorkeling. With this in mind, I'm not in the market for a housing, I am looking for a stand-alone PnS solution.
