First macro attempt

I took these while sandboarding at the beach with some mates, they were all over the bushes so i decided to have my first crack at macro insects. Shots were taken with D40 and kit 18-55mm lens. C&C welcome

Hi Mark, you did pretty good with these.
I like your first shot, even if it is centered :skippy

You will eventually learn not to center things,
but alas some of us *cough*cough* (meaning me) still do it
