Forgive the quantity of photos. Comments and criticisms are welcome.

I go to the Indiana Dunes every chance I get as it's close to home. I've been going for the landscapes but, lately I'm going for the wildlife.:lust So, the ring bill gulls are easy. I can just sit still and they just glide right past me.

This juvenile was very active. Playing and learning the wind. He had a "toy" fish (a stick) and would drop it in the air and try to catch it.

The last few of the ring-bills are very nice! I'd dial back your EV when shooting birds with white plumage in bright light. The Canada Geese are very nice. I haven't seen that many this season which is strange.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice photos. I'm consistent with other opinions on the fav. Also like the second "takeoff" shot. I've just started trying my hand with birds and this gives me a good idea for practice shooting. Gulls are plentiful and very active around the fish cleaning station at the marina thumb.gif
