Hi!

I continue my quest with using Sigma 70-300 + reversed 50mm Nikon 1.8.
Of course such setup requires focus stacking. Thnaks to Brian's tutorial I was able to made first steps in conquring Combine TZ software.

Something went wrong with the next image

perhaps I stuck too many images? Any ideas how to fix it?

Finally the leg of the "common fly" (at least I think that it was a common fly perhaps I am wrong) even with a monopod it is not sharp @ 6x

Hi Jet, i think you may be focusing too far between each frame.
there seems to be a few out of focus bands between the sharp areas.
    what apperture are you using?
the fewer frames you stack, use a smaller f no.
    i use 4-6 frames at f8 -11, 2-4 frames at f5- 7. as a guide.
    keep practising.
    phil.
