That's an interesting affect you've applied to these images Mr Peas.

Looks like you had a very successful day at the Car Show thumb.gif

Holy smoke, these are cool images! I like all of them (except the last one, eh), first and second being the best.

I'm quessing that you've used some kind of HDR type processing on them, results are magnificent, poster like material! What kind of lens did you use?

Skip- I drove a good 40-50 miles back and forth just to get there, I really had to make sure I went home with some cool images and I was happy to waste the gas to get there with these I caught. Thanks, the effect only works best on classy/classic cars like these, thought I'd apply them here, thanks again.

Pexi- Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them! The Mater shot was hard to process because the colors were exactly as you would see them in the film 'Cars'. It blended too much with the fore&backgrounds. I had to keep that rusty-bucket color on it. Yeah, it is an HDR type process to bring out shadows and highlights, but processed them from RAW instead of JPEGs to bring out the luster in the colors. I used a Canon 10-22mm, no polarizer. I should print some of them out and hang them on the wall, huh!

Sent a PM back to people who PM'd me, just remember: its not a straight shot one-set of processing technique!

    Thanks for looking!
