First macro attempt

Well, not really my first attempt, but my first post in the macro forum...
My grandmother found some crocuses in a ditch, and today we went out and took some pictures... These are the three I liked the most. (I should also probably add, that these weren't taken with an actual macro lens, but some macro filters I have... oh how I wish I had an actual macro lens!)
C&C Welcome, but please be gentle! :giggle

Welcome to the Dgrin Macro Forum Erika
Nice work, I see you were using natural light for these shots,
a flash would help you deal with shadows and uneven light.
Ahhhhhhhh and you were lucky enough to capture a shot with a bee too.
He's got a fine coating of pollen over him.
The close-up filters cause distortion around the edges of the image,
I have a set of HOYA close-up filters, I used them a lot before I moved to a DSLR ..... you can have a heap fun with them.
I hope you enjoy the forum Erika, Happy Shooting,
and please keep sharing your images with us ... Skippy
