First Attempt Candid B&W Shots CC Please

Hello,

This is my first attempt to make B&W candid people shots, I played around with the RAW setting in Lightroom to make it B&W. I really dont know if there's any rules or certain setting to make a color photo into B&W, is there any DOs or DONTs in B&W photography.

Which one is a failure, which one is a success, thus any CC is greatly appreciated.

I like the conversion...my favorites are also the last 2.

Thank you for all the kind words, the last two compared to the others, they looks more natural and not too contrast, maybe that I should do from now on for B&W ...

Conversion looks great to me. The focus does not look spot on in #1. No?

Hmm, I didnt pay attention until you mentioned it, it surely does looks OOF when I check the full size, good eyes Thank you.
