    Hi Keith well not really, but these birds will let you get close to them about 15 feet or so or closer if you move in slow on them.

    What a lovely little bird! Looks like he was singing his heart out. I don't think I can pick a favorite. They are all great captures!

    great color and detailthumb.gif I have found that if you move slow and then stay still you can get close ,very nice work

    You are correct jwear, I got so close to them, that the camera lens was not able to focus so I had to move back a bit on most of these shots.

    Hi Ric, thanks for the comments on these images. With these birds it is easy to get close to them 90% of the time as long as you move in slow. For some reason or other, they don't mind you coming in close to them in fact I was about 12 feet away from them on these shots. At one point I had to backup as I could not focus on them.
