Hi all
The el cheapo 50mm f/1.8 lens is a real gem when used with an extension tube to get inside its' closest focusing distance.
Here a 12mm Kenko DG tube was used, which retains metering and A/F.

These were shot using a circular polariser to reduce the light by 2 stops, giving me the freedom of opening the aperture up a bit more in harsh sunlight.

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

I was only able to get 9 different compositions on this outing, hope they don't bore anyone to tears.

#1 - Full Circle

#2 - Hold me Now

#3 - Towering

#4 - Chameleon

#5 - the Core

#6 - From Below

#7 - Tongue

#8 - 3 Amigos

#9 - Windswept

PP comprised levels/curves/hue, sharpening and neatimage demo where required for those poor exposures.

Rgds.

You've made the simple yet beautiful African Daisy stand out even more.

My fav's are number two and number 9. I love number two for the clarity and the bokeh and number 9 for the 'abstract' quality of the picture. It's also got a great bokeh.

    Nice work.
