Okay, I was the photographer for our local MOD this year. It kind of fell in my lap....

I really need more practice at this type of thing, i wasn't overly happy wtih my shots. Actually, I am so disappointed in the pics. I hate showing pics i am not happy with, i like to give ppl pics i am proud of :(

Advice and CC appreciated. Or you can just say, U suk :)

Most were taken with 18-200 Tamron

U SUK......JUST KIDDING :D:D:D:D:D (I've always wanted to say that). For events like this, or actually most events, stretching out with some more PJ style would enhance the photos. Too many events have pictures later that look like pictures if you get my drift. I think you could do some things with these to give them a more PJ style....crop some, tilt some, blur some, color some, etc. Just thinking out loud. Don't beat yourself up.....we all have stuff that isn't near our standards.thumb.gif

You mean you think they look like Snap Shots? I am sure they are going to be quite pleased with these.

    yes, snapshots. And thanks!

They did love them...but just like you said, each style is different and to me, these were easy to take but a challenge to make them look like, well...for lack of a better thought, "something special"

But they are special to all the March of Dimes workers so I am happy with that! They are going to use them to put with their thank you cards :) AND hope to have me back next year! So that is good...
