Hi folks! Sorry I haven't been around much. Been very busy at work and when I'm not working, I'm out shooting. Been getting lots of great images!
I didn't think I was going to get the opportunity to shoot these gorgeous Waxwings this Winter, but found out there was a large flock hanging outside of the City Hall in my City! I went and found them. They were very obliging and let us get to minimum focus distance on most of the following images.

Very tough to get these guys in flight as they stick in the trees and don't give you much room to track them.

There is a fine line between a hobby and mental illness!

Birds don't get much prettier than waxwings and photos of birds do not get any better (they'd better not).
Any shots showing more of the flock though?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

6 is great timing. 10 is simply amazing. Sometimes, I tell my camera to take pictures like that - it doesn't. Yours is well trained. Thanks for sharing these.
