Loons.
Not many egrets up in the Great White North yet, so how about some loons.
The skies were overcast, but we found a bay that gave us a good reflection on the water, and saved a few of these shots.
If only it would have been looking at me.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

They were moving in and out of a shaded bay that made the 2 middle shots have good color to the water.
The grey skies made it tough when they moved out of that area.
I'd like to get a another shot at one of these guys feeding again.
Maybe over the weekend.

I hope you get some more....I never get tired of Loon photos. I tried a couple summers ago to get a few, but I wasn't successful :cry Maybe this year.
Maybe you could answer this...where do they go in the winter?
