I was fortunate enough to run into a friend at the Sea otter race last weekend. I hadn't seen Jody Gomez in awhile and she asked if I wanted to try out her 300 F2.8! :ivar THANKS JODY she is awesome.
Heck yes and it was awesome. here are some shot with it as well as a 70-200 and a 17-40. What do ya think?

And I knew two people in that race!
some good grabs. It's always a struggle with DH bikes to balance capturing the speed and a good clean/sharp image at the same time.

Yeah have been trying to keep shutter speeds down..... but keep the riders sharp!
Clone the boundary tape out of #11 and that baby is AWESOME!!!

I love seeing the DH guys do their thing. Did you have a chance to see any
of the XC stuff?

I didn't really see any XC. I had to shoot road images so that took away from mountain time. I will post some road shots up also....
