Sunday at the Long Beach Grand Prix

I was there all day yesterday. I couldn't afford to buy the super photo pass at $250. So I settled for shooting through the fence at the grand stands. I shot well over 500 pictures. Here are a few. Your C&C would be appreciated.

    It looks difficult to shoot from where you were. Could you move around the track? If you can get closer to the fence you can shoot through pretty well without it being noticeable.

    There are 2 fences separating the audience from the track (3rd photo from the last). These are all panning shots which requires you to follow the cars with the camera before you can shoot them.

    Yeah, I noticed both fences. Looks like a difficult place to shoot. I guess you can't move around the track much there? ne_nau.gif

    I picked up on the panning.:D Pretty sharp. What was your shutter speed?

    Thank you. :)

    My shutter speed was set to 1/400 in Tv mode.
