Did you stick a flower on the end of your lens ?

Thanks.
No flower and I have to say these shots are severly cropped. It was an amazing stroke of luck actually. I was playing with macro in the woods when this guy just started to hover right in front of me and I pulled off about 10 shots in manual focus before he was gone. These were the best 2.

Mike these are AWESOME
Kind of looks a bit agro in the first shot as its flying towards you.
Looks way to heavy to be flying.
The first shot it looks like it's coming to get you,
Second shot looks like it's gonna let you go this time around
Excellent shots Mike ... Skippy

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
Give him credit, if it works for birds and critters, why not bees?
Seriously ... wonderful shots, great recognition of a potentially interesting image ... most of us would have been more worried about where the bee was going to land and following it to get an image at that time.
