Monitor Calibration - (check me)

Hi Everyone,
I got a new monitor calibrator and just wondered how this looks from others viewing it. Everything looks good from this end but it sure looks different from the way my older one calibrated (totally different).
This is another shot from a great distance (pretty heavily cropped) - 500 + 1.4 + manual focus (only way through all the leaves) + tripod + mirror lockup + remote shutter release and it still looked shaky through the viewfinder because it was REALLY blowing here the other day. I'm going to try the 2X extender next trip but I have never had luck with it.
This was a changing of the guard (egg sitting) on the RT nest. The female took off and the male landed to take his turn. They should be hatching any day now if my calcs are right.
Anyway, just thought I would get another opinion from the other end of the internet on how the colors and contrast look. Thanks !!

Thanks guys.. I was concerned because it was so drastic from my older calibrator which I always thought looked pretty good.
I appreciate your input.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Harry.. Don't do that to me (it isn't really blue is it.. )

I assume you can see those blown highlights on the glossy green leaves? If not you better turn that backlight on!
Hi Ric, My concern was the new calibrator (Spyder3 Pro) had me set my backlight up almost to full strength (I'm on a Mac 23 inch). The old calibrator (same company) was just above the halfway point. The colors on my end looked almost to vivid, the RT looked good but the leaves popped big time. The only brown splotches I see on the leaves (on this end) are from the bud cases turning brown after the leaves bloomed. I don't see any other brown.
I got some excellent shots (first time ever) with the 500 + 2.0 extender. I used "Live View" at 10X zoom to focus through the leaves and it really worked. At the distance I am away from the nest AF wouldn't work through all the leaves and my eyes aren't good enough to focus at that distance through the VF. The difference between focus and OOF is sooooo slight you almost can't make it happen. Live View at 10X is amazing to be able to focus. Still learning all the goodies on the Mark III. I'm going to take my pocket camera with me today to show you just how far I am from the nest.
If it's going to happen there should be some little guys any day now. Dad brought Mom a snack the other day (a baby GBH I think)(I felt bad).. then they changed places and she was off to enjoy lunch.
Thanks for looking..
