Missing feathers didn't seem to hinder her one bit.

Awesome images. The wing position in that second shot is very cool! I like the red bellies checking out the digs. :D

Cool captures thumb.gif , have you tried decreasing those shadows in the first two?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanks, Harry.:D

Yes, I did. There was nothing there worth seeing!rolleyes1.gif

We need (or at least I do) 2 more stops of dynamic range in these digital sensors so you have some lattitude on adjustments. The histogram was pretty good on those shots.ne_nau.gif

I know. I wish the camera makers would stop worrying about how many MPs they can cram into a sensor and start finding a way to expand the DR of our cameras.

I have gotten some of my best captures with the funkiest looking histograms. Many of my egret shots show most of the data cramped to the left side of the histogram. Then I have these perfect bell curves with just a teeny weeny spike on the right. Of course that teeny weeny spike is my snowy egret that's blown to all hell.
