The Epson 3800, powered by the EPSON PRINT DRIVER, is limited to 17 by 36 inches as it is not set up to print roll paper, but only sheet fed stock.
With the ImagePrint RIP, however, it will print as long as you want - up to 8 feet or more, since the RIP drives the printer, not the Epson print driver. I suspect that might be true of the 9500 as well, if it is supported by ImagePrint. Be aware, that ImagePrint costs more than most consumer style printers cost.
Perhaps there are other RIPs that support the Canon 9500 as well.

maybe i will just print all big ones with a pro....
it just bugs me to have a 19 inch limit.....

All the RIP makers I talked to said there is no way round it unless canon change the printer firmware (canon tend to not add features in firmware, just fix bugs)
