    Nice comp and light with the dove! Is that a grackle in the other photo? I like the ruffled feathers.

    In #2 the beak size makes me think Raven (or Crow) but hard to judge the size of the bird itself.

    Nice crisp shots ... like them both. I don't believe it is a grackle, wrong color for the eye. A grackles eye is usually whitish yellow with the black pupil. I'm thinking like Don, either raven or crow.

    Thanks Don and Bob. I don't have ravens where I am and to me it looks too small for a crow so it is probably a raven.
