    Well sorry you had to settle for an owl! :cry These guys don't make it easy to get a good shot, usually you can't tell them from the tree. Good work Ric! You might check the nearby trees for fledglings!

    Excellent capture Ric.. The one I've managed to capture is pretty calm if I approach very slow. They are cool to have in your portfolio. I've only seen one around here and it hangs in the same place most of the time.
