I photographed a bug yesterday in the rosmary plant on our deck. I have no clue what it is but it looks cool. Legs like a cricket but moved slow. This shot is straight from the camera, D200 with 105 macro, I was using the R1 flash ring with one on the ring the second off to the side and -1ev The second shot is focus stacked from 3 exposures using Helicon focus (MAC user) Any ideas folks?:dunno

Lovely capture- pretty certain it's a shieldbug (stinkbug)
Ah the 2nd shot just turned up- might have to change my mind- a plant bug possibly a leaf footed bug

    Thanks Brian!
I spent the last 3 days doing a parade of homes. Nothing like doing a full blown shoot to make you apperiate macros! No floods, lightstands, extension cords....... Just a camera and a flash.
