Tiny frog

This little guy would be no more than 1cm (about 1/2") long. My son pointed him out at the local zoo. Quite a few people gathered once they realised I wasn't actually trying really hard to take photos of leaves! I just wish I'd set it to a smaller aperture so the depth of field wasn't quite so shallow.

Your on the right track more DOF would of brought this tiny one out, also
if you get another chance try this to show some scale

Looks like copper - very cool frog.

I thought the grass blades showed the scale pretty well.

The shallow DOF isn't a killer to me. At least the eyes and the front of the face are well in focus. Cute little bugger.

very cool little guy. i think the shallow DOF is very cool here. I think it makes him seem as small as he actually is. great shot!
