I was in downtown today and I brought my camera along. I took this shot. I took my first shot at a B&W conversion. I only have Photoshop Elements 2, so I couldn't (or at least dont know how) to make it look better. I tried to add some grain in there. Comments/constructive criticism welcomed. Are there any really good B&W conversion tutorials out there for PS Elements 2?

I like the sign you've tried to capture a lot, and I think B&W is a good choice to show it. But the current crop just doesn't work for me. I kept wondering what was underneath the sign and on the street. The cut off heads of people underneath the sign didn't help at that either. So I would love to see this shot with a bit more wide angle / distance.
enjoy being here while getting there
