Combined driving (horsies)

These shots are from the Day in the life of Dgrin saturday. I was shooting at an event promoting all kinds of professions and the places of education thereof.

This is what the horse people had come up with :D
The sport is called combined driving, because it involves three different kinds of 'tests' for the driver and horses: dressage, marathon and cones (driving accuracy).

This was quite an interesting demonstration by driver Ben Simonsen, I've gotta get to try this.

The first two are dressage phase and the other two marathon.

    It was cool allright :D

    The horses were moving at a good canter in the quicker parts, it was exciting to watch a two horse cart move that fast up close. And they do that with up to four horses too. I started riding about 8 months ago and I've gotta try this too!
