There's nothing like being in a web designer, photographer and, motorcycle rider and not having almost any use of your wrists or hands. But I'm trying to get at least one of those back now, and I mention this briefly in a quick review of the S. 600 by Nikon.
Now I've gone out twice briefly to try and take some photos and get back into photography in general. These photos are from basically the first time I've used a camera since January. Technology truly is a great thing, I'm writing this using speech recognition, my mouse is moved through an infrared camera, and I'm able to make printable images from a camera that smaller than my wallet.

Nice series and choice of subjects. I would have waited to make your caveat of disability, because I see none here. A later discloser would have had more impact! Keep the images coming.

OT: Any included spelling and grammatical errors, blamed on Dragon NaturallySpeaking would be no worse than my Dyslexic Uber-boss who is atrocious at spelling!

Ya know somin, your quick story really touched me, really. Im gonna be honest here and say I do have a tear in my eye because lately ive found that hearing really great stories really hits my heart bigtime.

To hear someone such as yourself who has physical limitations able to do the things you love, is really a great thing to hear. You havn't let anybody stop you from doing the things you enjoy. Kudos to you and great pieces you've posted. Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts, I'd say the most interesting part of my experience so far is just how you quickly adapt to your situation (especially when there is the gear to let you continue your work even if you have to change how you do it from the ground up, you do).
My big concern right now is that the doctors have no idea what the cause of all of this is. But being able to actually produce some work has been a huge uplifting thing for me. So I ask to keep the good thoughts coming I will keep the work coming on here

Awesome NikonsandVstroms, I could not even begin to imagine what it would be like to have a disability.

I know life is worth living, we just take for granted that every day we will wake up in the morning, and all will be well.

You can't live in a box, you cannot protect yourself from things you have no control over...... I'm glad you have not given up hope and you are getting on with your life.

Photography is a great way to express yourself,
I really like the 2nd and 3rd shots you've showed us.

Well Done clap.gif keep moving forward, you cannot change the past thumb.gif

It's wonderful to see that talent and creativity can always shine through a disability. Thanks so much for sharing these.

My mom has very very bad eyes..and it keeps getting even vorse each year. She allmost never complain about it, even though i know she would love to see my work with sharp eyes.

The photos are very nice! love that one allmost lookin like a spine. Is that a radiatior that you somehow used as a "spine" ?..Amazing work! keep it up!

You have an eye for shapes and lines. I like the radiator/steam heat shot and the comparison, I feel, to x-ray-ed vertebrae.
