I had dipped the blu-tac in a water/sugar solution 1½hr before hand, and then waited for the bluebottle to land on it. I wanted the proboscis but the fecker never stuck it out...

They were shot in natural light kind of, but I had the onboard flash set to -1 1/3 with a diffuser too

talk about having to improve ones word power - i had to look up the dictionary for the meaning of the word proboscis and then the urban dictionary for the word fecker

it's good to learn something new everyday. Who would have thought that blue tak soaked in water/sugar would attract flies!!
