Icy Sunset

Shot this one Saturday night looking out over our Ice Bound reservior that doubles as our fresh water supply for the city.

    Very nice, Steve.
    You've sure captured the "coldness" of the scene very well. Something about the north in winter... even if you can't see the ice and snow, the sky looks cold!

    I don't know if you're looking for constructive criticizm, but if it were my shot, I would try cropping about half that sky. I think it might strengthen the composition somewhat.

    Wow, the purple color in this is really something. Not your "Typical" sunset. I like the foreground also. clap.gif

    I really like the first one. Very interesting colors and textures. Its a different world up there. 80 degrees down here. Thanks for sharing.
