Melody Ranch, Cowboy Festival
Melody Ranch is a working western studio/movie lot 30miles north of Los Angeles in Santa Clarita, CA. It has been used for 35 John Wayne movies from what they tell me and last big thing was HBO's Deadwood.
They didn't allow any taping or photos a few years ago b/c it was set up for Deadwood but now they allow photography and it was my first time there for their annual Cowboy Festival. It is kind of like a Renaissance Faire where they have food, vendors, entertainment, and costumed characters.
1. Reminds me of Wyatt Earp.
2. Uh oh, "high noon."
3. Ticket booth.
4. Couple of locals.
5. Strumming his guitar.
6. Shadows of musicians.
7. Hanging around?
Whole gallery is here.

Tom,
Great work as usual. Love you portrait work, great natural expressions
and right on exposures.
You always have interesting angles.

.... a road less traveled
Would love to see more.
