I've been practicing with my 'new to me' Nikkor 105mm 4.0 AI micro lens in my neighbour's yard while her glorious magnolia progressed from bud to full bloom. Things are coming along I think. Here are some photos.

Hi Patti, the Magnolia Tree looks so pretty in blossom,
but gosh they make one heck of a mess when all those petals drop.

All new equipment takes some time to get used to,
The Open flowers are very very pretty.

Congrats on the new lens Patti thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

Thanks for the encouragement Skippy. Lots to learn about using MF lenses and of course a long learning curve with macro.

Thanks Brian. I'm very green with photography, macro and MF lenses in particular so I've got lots to learn.
